With time to go deeper, you’ll explore the production process in detail and hear first-hand how Falkirk’s distillation philosophy shapes the character of the spirit. The tour can be personalized to your interests, so whether you’re curious about fermentation, cask selection or maturation, your host will tailor the visit to you. In the Dunnage Warehouse, we will draw a sample directly from a hand-selected cask before comparing a range of samples side by side.    Your experienced tour Host will meet you at reception, where your experience begins with a short multimedia presentation. You’ll then enjoy a detailed guided tour through the Millhouse and Stillroom, as your guide explains each stage of the whisky-making process. Next, you’ll visit the Cooperage Display to discover the traditional tools that have been used over the centuries to craft the barrels in which the whisky is matured. The tour continues through the Bottling Room and into the traditional Dunnage Warehouse, where you can take in the rich, distinctive aromas. Your visit concludes with a warehouse tasting of 4 spirits, 3 of the finest Lowland Malt Whiskies and a rare Capperdonich Whisky. Your guide will explain each spirit to you and you can enjoy and compare drams and discuss your flavor experience with your guide. Afterwards, you are welcome to browse at your leisure in the charming gift shop.
