Overview

Step into the heart of Yellowstone’s wilderness for a full day of immersive wildlife photography, where every corner of the landscape holds the potential for an unforgettable shot. Yellowstone’s diverse ecosystems offer a rare opportunity to photograph animals in their natural rhythms, habitats, and the glowing, magical light created by the park’s geysers and hot springs. From the iconic Lamar and Hayden Valleys to the geothermal wonders of Norris Geyser Basin or the serene landscapes surrounding Yellowstone Lake, you’ll have the chance to capture Yellowstone’s wildlife and breathtaking scenery in a variety of settings that align with your personal photographic interests. With your experienced Naturalist Photographer Guide leading the way, we’ll explore the best known habitats for wolves, bears, bison, and many other species. Itinerary

  1. 1

    Great Fountain Geyser

    1.5 hours

Located in Yellowstone's Lower Geyser Basin, Great Fountain Geyser offers one of the park's most reliable and impressive shows. After a fascinating pre-play, watch as it launches powerful columns of water 100-200+ feet into the air, often for a grand duration of 15-30 minutes, making it a must-see.

  2. 2

    Grand Prismatic Spring

    1.5 hours

Yellowstone's iconic Grand Prismatic Spring is a breathtaking spectacle of color, famed for its immense size and the vibrant, rainbow-like rings, from deep blues to fiery oranges and greens, created by heat-loving bacteria.

  3. 3

    Lamar Valley

    1.5 hours

Nestled in the northeastern corner of Yellowstone, Lamar Valley is a breathtaking, expansive landscape renowned as the 'Serengeti of North America.'
