Whale Shark Swimming Adventure: Small Group with Marine Biologist

Less people, more whale sharks! Swim with the largest fish on Earth in a tour designed for more time in the water, fewer crowds, and a deeper connection with these gentle giants in La Paz. The magic begins as we spot our first whale shark gliding just beneath the surface. With hearts pounding, we quietly slip into the water and watch in awe as this gentle giant moves past us—then, the unforgettable moment: swimming alongside it. Surrounded by life above and below the sea, our expert naturalist guides share the fascinating biology of these beautiful creatures. With small group sizes, the experience is personal, immersive, and truly once-in-a-lifetime.

We meet up at our shop at 11:00 am to gear up, then we take a short boat ride to the Whale Shark Protected Area, and start looking for the tell-tale signs of an animal swimming nearby. You will receive an introduction to the natural history of the sharks, and instructions for the experience at hand. It is a memorable experience to see the size and grace of these animals moving through the water as you swim alongside them. NOTE: We will wait 15 minutes before being forced to cancel the outing for the tardy party. There will be no refund in case of no show. Please arrive punctually.
