West Side (Full Day) | San Miguel Island

On this tour we will meet wonderful places, starting the route in the pineapple plantation, then the Lagoa do Fogo and viewpoints such as Vista do Rei and Cerrado das Monas that provide unique landscapes over the Lagoa das Sete Cidades.

   Plantacao de Ananas dos Acores

   In this plantation we will know the greenhouses and the traditional production of Azorian pineapple.

   Lagoa do Fogo

   20 min

   The Lagoon of Fire is the second largest in the island of São Miguel, has a unique landscape and is classified as a protected Nature Reservation.

   Praia do Areal de Santa Barbara

   20 min

   It is one of the most extensive beaches in the Azores of dark and fine sand. Internationally recognized for its waves, it is a place of choice for surfing.

   Ribeira Grande

   1 hour

   Lunch time: Here we will have lunch at a local restaurant in Ribeira Grande.

   Vista do Rei Miradouro

   20 min

   This viewpoint is one of the most famous on the island and offers panoramic views of the Seven Cities Lagoon, an incredible volcanic boiler.

   Miradouro do Cerrado das Freiras

   15 min

   This viewpoint offers a wonderful view of the Green Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon of the Seven Cities.

   Lagoa Verde / Lagoa das Sete Cidades

   20 min

   Here we will descend to the level of the volcanic boiler and we will stop at the bridge that is in the middle of the Green Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon.
