Itinerary

  1. 1

    Plaza del Mercado

    5 min

One square, three centuries of architecture: the medieval Lonja de la Seda, the Church of Santos Juanes and the modernist Central Market, with your guide helping you notice the details hidden in the daily chaos.

  2. 2

    Barrio del Carmen

    Pass by

Cycle the narrow streets of El Carmen, where old city gates, colourful murals and local life share every corner, with your guide pointing out what's worth a second look.

  3. 3

    Calle Caballeros

    15 min

Pause for your first coffee at one of the city's best-loved cafés, where a house blend of Brazilian, Papua New Guinean and Ethiopian Sidama beans gives a smooth, fruity cup, and choose whatever drink you like to relax and enjoy the morning.

  4. 4

    Stop 4

    5 min

Stop in the square where Valencia's Cathedral, Basilica and Turia Fountain meet, with your guide bringing the stories behind them to life.

  5. 5

    Stop 5

    5 min

Ride up to the monumental Gothic gate that once welcomed travellers into medieval Valencia, and let your guide bring to life the stories of the city's best-preserved defensive towers.

  6. 6

    Jardi del Turia

    Pass by

Cycle along the former riverbed that became Valencia's green heart, a long ribbon of gardens, fountains and shaded paths where locals jog, stroll and play, with your guide explaining how the city turned a flood-prone river into one of Spain's largest urban parks.

  7. 7

    Stop 7

    15 min

Leave the tourist trail behind and cycle into Penya-roja, a local neighbourhood of low-rise streets and everyday Valencian life, for a second speciality coffee stop where you can slow down, savour a carefully made cup and chat with your guide about the city.

  8. 8

Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias

    10 min

Ride among Calatrava's gleaming white buildings and shimmering water, with your guide sharing the story behind Valencia's boldest architecture.

  9. 9

    Ruzafa

    Pass by

Roll through bohemian Ruzafa, with its graceful modernist buildings and relaxed café life, while your guide shows you what to look for along the way.

  10. 10

    Mercado De Ruzafa

    15 min

Pause on a quiet street near the Ruzafa Market for a relaxed coffee, away from the bustle, and enjoy a few unhurried minutes before the tour rolls on.

  11. 11

    Stop 11

    5 min

Pause in the square in front of Valencia's Estación del Norte, a modernist gem with ceramic details and orange-blossom motifs, and see the neighbouring bullring, whose arched brick façade recalls the Roman Colosseum, while your guide shares the stories behind both.

  12. 12

Fuente de La Plaza del Ayuntamiento

    5 min

Ride into the grand main square of Valencia, where the City Hall, the Central Post Office and the flower stalls create a lively, elegant setting, and your guide shares the stories behind the buildings and the traditions that fill the square.
