Traditional Sicilian Arancine Cooking Class with local Chef

An immersive cooking class exploring the origins and secrets of arancine, a symbol of Sicilian tradition. Under Ileana’s expert guidance, guests will prepare the classic butter filling and observe the preparation of the risotto, an essential step for achieving perfect arancine, as well as the shaping and filling of the golden rice balls, which will then be cooked using traditional techniques. At the end of the class, guests will enjoy freshly fried arancine accompanied by an excellent Sicilian wine, and will receive a digital recipe to take home and recreate the flavors of Sicily.

They will prepare traditional arancine in the two classic variations: meat and cheese, and ham. Guests will discover how to make saffron-infused rice, then complete the process with frying and tasting the arancine. An excellent Sicilian wine will accompany the entire experience, ending with a toast to Sicily.
