Are you curious to know what a Japanese family eats at home? We want to show you Japanese cuisine beyond what is popular, such as sushi and ramen. Make traditional Japanese home cooked meals with a seasoned chef. The menu is as follows: -A main course using a seasonal Kyoto vegetable -Miso soup -Rice ball We will then enjoy the meal together, surrounding a table in our beautiful machiya. Experience a glimpse of everyday life in Japan. The cooking class will be held at a machiya that is nationally recognized as an Important Cultural Property and historically significant landmark. We are excited to share its rich history with you. *The number of participants are a minimum of two and a maximum of six. *Our dedicated staff are experts in a variety of arts ranging from tea ceremony to calligraphy, but not all of them are fluent in English. We will try our best to provide you with an interpreter, but a translation device may be used for communication instead.
