Tour to Giraffe Center from Nairobi

Get up close and personal with one of Africa’s most iconic animals at the Giraffe Centre, just a short drive from Nairobi. This incredible sanctuary is home to the endangered Rothschild's giraffes and was created by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife. Originally started with the rescue of a single giraffe calf, the center now offers visitors a rare chance to interact with giraffes in a safe, semi-wild setting. You'll have the unforgettable experience of feeding these gentle giants from a raised platform — and maybe even get a “giraffe kiss” if you’re lucky! Stroll along a peaceful nature trail through indigenous forest to the Gogo River, where you might spot warthogs, birds, and other local wildlife. Your guide will share fascinating facts about giraffe conservation and the center's history, making this visit both fun and educational. Perfect for families, couples, and animal lovers, this half-day tour is a must-do when in Nairobi.
