Tour Galveston's 1895 Moody Mansion

Guests see magnificently restored furnishings and decor in the home of the W.L. Moody, Jr. Moody built a fortune in some 50 entities, including insurance, banking, hotels, newspapers, cotton, railroads, ranching and others. At the time of his death he was among America's 10 wealthiest people. He established the Moody Foundation and his daughter established the Mary Moody Northen Endowment, charitable foundations which today support environmental, educational, social service, and historical projects.

   Moody Mansion

   Arrive at the mansion between 10am-4PM. Take a self-guided audio tour of the restored home of one of Texas' wealthiest families.
