Overview

Experience a calm and authentic Japanese tea ceremony in Asakusa, comfortably seated on chairs — no seiza (kneeling) required. Our 2-bowl experience lets you first taste matcha prepared by your instructor, then whisk and enjoy your own bowl of matcha. You will also experience the spirit and essential elements of the Japanese tea ceremony, not just making matcha, and discover some of its etiquette, utensils, and meaning in a simple and enjoyable way. Complimentary kimono fitting is available if you wish, together with seasonal wagashi and time for memorable photos. Located near Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Skytree — easy to enjoy as part of your sightseeing in Asakusa. Small-group experience with English support, perfect for beginners. Families and groups are welcome. We also do our best to accommodate individual travelers who prefer a more private experience.
