Strawberry Picking and Exploring Beautiful City of Tamba Sasayama

About an hour by train from Osaka, Tamba Sasayama offers a chance to create unforgettable memories amidst untouched beauty and rich traditions, all while enjoying stunning Japanese scenery. The tour starts with strawberry picking, followed by making and tasting 'Strawberry daifuku,' a sweet strawberry-filled mochi. Afterward, stroll down a charming street lined with merchant houses, reminiscent of a samurai drama set. The picturesque streets feel like stepping into a period drama, and a short detour leads you to Makekirai Inari Shrine, with its vibrant orange torii gates. You can shop for souvenirs at stores converted from old folk houses or choose famous Tachikui pottery at a cute shop. Next, visit the Great Shōin Hall at the ruins of Sasayama Castle, where samurai armor is displayed. For those interested, there’s an option to try it on. A friendly guide will lead you on this special tour filled with Japan's hidden gems.
