Overview
Instead of simply following a sightseeing route, you’ll become an adviser to the City Head and investigate Hagaparken’s past on location. Compare King Gustav III’s vision with what exists today, gather evidence, and solve riddles that unlock the real story behind each stop. By the finish, you’ll understand the park as a whole—not just have walked through it. Play solo or with your own team, at your own pace.
What's included
- Digital route directions, riddles, hints, and stories in text and audio
- Access to the selected edition of the quest
- Meals
- Private transportation
- Mobile Internet
Itinerary
You’ll follow an approximately 3 km self-guided route through Hagaparken, using your phone to navigate between stops. At each location, you’ll observe your surroundings, solve a riddle, and read or listen to a short story about what you see. The route takes you past palace ruins, royal pavilions, and scenic viewpoints before finishing at a viewpoint inside the park. By the end, you’ll have a complete picture of Hagaparken—how King Gustav III envisioned it, what was actually built, and what remains today. Allow 2–3.5 hours and play solo or as a team, at your own pace. In the game and in our welcome email, the quest is called Hagaparken: Gustav III's Living Theatre.
