This is a walking tour and we do not go into the museums / private homes. The duration of the tour takes into account walking time to and from the historic sites.

   In 1808 St. Augustine’s residents erected the pillars of the City Gate using coquina blocks. (Some say it was a way to keep pirates out.) Our guide goes into the history of how and why the gate still stands today. A much overlooked piece of Augustine history!

   St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum

   On our tour we pass by many iconic landmarks, shops and museums. Here, while we do not go in, our guide can help book tickets for after your tour and we dive into the history of the pirate history in the area.

   Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

   The oldest masonry fort in the continental United States, the Castillo de San Marcos is a Spanish stone fortress built to protect and defend Spain's claims in the New World. Here our guide tells tales of the fortresses creation and impact on the surrounding area. Our guide brings the cities history back to life. All our guides are well versed in Saint Augustines intricate past.

   Here our guide goes into the history of the city's most iconic ship. The Black Raven Pirate Ship. Our guide tell seafaring tales to help illustrate the maritime history in the area.
