   With approximately 5 hours of free time in Galveston, you’ll have the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. Use our helpful Galveston Tip Sheet to discover top attractions, historic landmarks, restaurants, shops, and local favorites along the way. Take in the best shopping and cultural part of Galveston Island called The Strand where we will have the first shuttle drop-off. Step inside the gorgeous plaza-style Saengerfest Park in the heart of the Strand District or ride the historic red Trolley to find a place for some bites/drinks. Visit the iconic Seawall Boulevard where you can go biking, scootering, walking and taking in the oceanside views, fresh seafood, amusement rides, and beachside shops. Step inside the incredible Grand Galvez Hotel and feel the history or get a cocktail at the hotel restaurant bar. Stop and grab a snack at the Murdoch's Beach house and sit on the deck-side rocking chairs for astonishing gulf coast views.
