Overview
An Authentic (Local and Traditional) Hiking Experience Description Forget the crowded tourist routes. We invite you to discover the heart of Sounion, an area that was the "driving force" behind the Golden Age of Athens. Your excursion takes place in the Sounion National Park – one of Greece's 10 iconic National Parks, which was officially established in 1974 to protect the region's priceless natural and historical heritage. What will we gain from this excursion? 1. Local Expertise: You are not just visitors; you are guests in a living open-air museum. Amid the ruins and silent courtyards, we will “hear” the stories of the people who, through toil and determination, shaped the future of the region.
