Sombai Cocktail Class and Rice Liqueur Tasting in Siem Reap

The cocktails are Sombai's own, built on liqueurs made in the building you are standing in, so you taste the base spirit first and then taste what it becomes. The class is led by the family who make the liqueurs and capped at 8 people, small enough that guests end up asking for restaurant and market recommendations, which they get. You are in a traditional wooden Khmer house in the Wat Damnak area, upstairs from the infusion jars, where the family has been making hand-painted bottles of infused rice wine since 2012. The class runs in the evening, after the temples close, so it fills the part of the day most visitors to Siem Reap have nothing planned for.
