Shopping and Food Walking Tour in Philadelphia with Guide

Our tour is one-of-a-kind in Philly as it combines vintage shopping with sweets and sips. You will also get a very good feel for the historic district of Old City that will allow you come back and dive deeper into the famous landmarks. We will be starting with a treat at the oldest confectionery store in the country, to be followed by stops at some of our favorite vintage boutiques scattered amongst the charming, historic streets. Each one has a unique, secondhand vibe, so there's sure to be something for everyone. In between some of the shopping we will stop for some delicious pastries as well. Next, we will head towards Center City with a stop in Chinatown on the way. You will get an introduction to Reading Terminal Market, which is one of Philly’s top three tourist attractions. The market can be overwhelming, but we will take you to some favorite vendors and will make you feel truly at home. Sweet bites, a sweet+savory taste, a spirit tasting and a cocktail sip are included.

   This tour is a collaboration with City Food Tours who will be your expert guides giving you an overview of the market with an emphasis on desserts and also some sweet and savory off-menu surprises!

   Philadelphia Chinatown

   10 min

   You get to experience a family owned bakery in Chinatown and taste a sip of an authentic drink (included in your tour price) with options to purchase other food and baked goods as well.

   Elfreth's Alley

   Pass by

   We will be walking through the historic Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia and passing by many famous landmarks, including Elfreth's Alley, that can be later explored. Our emphasis will be on the vintage shops scattered throughout the area.

   Pass by

   We will be passing by the Betsy Ross House, along with many other historic landmarks in the Old City neighborhood with an emphasis on the vintage shops scattered throughout the area.

   Independence Hall

   Pass by

   We will be walking by the historic area of Independence Hall on our way to the Reading Terminal Market
