Its construction involved more than 3,000 workers and 38 contracting companies from around the world. Architecturally, the mosque is a blend of Islamic styles, combining Mughal, Moorish, Ottoman, Persian, and other influences to create a beautifully unified design. The mosque complex covers over 555,000 square meters and can accommodate approximately 55,000 worshippers
