Explore the luxury of tradition at a stunning agriturismo in Caggiano, where the breathtaking Alburni mountains create a picturesque backdrop. Under the guidance of hosts Onofrio and Caterina, you’ll delve into the art of harvesting seasonal produce, crafting local dishes, and tasting the fruits of your labor. After a hands-on cooking experience, enjoy a delightful three-course lunch paired with the farm’s own wine. The day culminates in an urban trek through the historic streets of Caggiano, where you’ll uncover the village’s unique charm.

Your host will give you a tour of the Agriturismo and its adjacent lands and stables, so that you will know your way around. You’ll meet the family and learn about the history of the farm and its many activities. Depending on the season, your host Onofrio will accompany you to the vegetable garden, orchard, vineyard or fields to harvest or forage. You’ll have a chance to taste or even cook whatever you picked later in the morning. Next, you’ll join Caterina in the kitchen. She will guide you through the steps of one of her many secret recipes, handed down to her generation after generation through the maternal line. After your workshop, you’ll have a chance to relax and roam freely on the farm, revisiting any of the places you’ve seen on the initial tour, or to relax on the terrace or inside, while the team finishes cooking lunch. You’ll enjoy a 3-course meal accompanied by the farm’s own wine, which will feature, amongst other things, your own culinary contributions of the morning. In the afternoon, you'll go on a digestive walking tour of Caggiano’s historical center, visiting the most important places that make up its history.
