Salem Lit Tour: Books In Salem, On Salem, By Salem

This walking tour is the only experience in Salem dedicated entirely to its rich literary world exploring bookshops and stories shaped by the city’s unique history. Rather than focusing on well‑known legend and folklore, this tour weaves together historical, cultural, and literary perspectives, guiding travelers through locations tied to poets, authors, traditional storytellers, and written works inspired by Salem. Guests gain a deeper understanding of the city through the lens of literature, discovering how words, ideas, and stories have helped shape Salem’s identity across centuries.
