   Zocalo De Atlixco

   The center of this magical village revolves around a two-story kiosk where you can sit for coffee. In one of the corners of the plinth is the Parish of Santa Maria de la Natividad, whose construction dates from the beginning of 1644. The temple stands out for its two altars in the Churrigueresque style that are dressed with works by the Poblano painter Luis Berrueco. This area is also famous for restaurants that offer local and international cuisine, traditional snows and popsicles as well as artisan produced mezcal. We also visited the Municipal Palace with its paintings with the history of this magical town. We will know the street of flowers and know about local products.

   Atlixco de las Flores has dozens of nurseries installed, mostly in the Cabrera neighborhood, towards the Popocatépetl volcano. We will visit one of them where you can admire the different varieties of plants that are grown locally. They have specimens for both sun and shade, for indoors or outdoors, for pots or for planting on large areas of surface.

   We will visit the Ex-convent of San Francisco located on the San Miguel hill. An architectural gem that will immerse you in history throughout the centuries. We will go up to the access to the Crystal Viewpoint where we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the volcanoes.
