These beaches are surrounded by olive groves, creating a spectacular and picturesque scenery. The cosmopolitan resort stretches along a coastline, offering breathtaking views of the impressive bays. From the main beach of Paleokastritsa, a picturesque bay where excursion boats depart for nearby and isolated beaches or tours in the small bays and caves.    Glyfada, the most famous beach in Corfu, on the west coast about a 30-minute drive from Paleokastritsa. From above, the boundless Glyfada beach is truly beautiful. Glyfada Beach has fine sand, it is long and deep, and it offers areas of pure relaxation as well as tourist facilities to suit every need.
