Overview

After exploring, descend to Kalambaka for an authentic Greek lunch and incredible photo ops of Meteora’s natural beauty. Continue with a visit to the ancient Cavern of Theopetra, inhabited since the Middle Paleolithic period. Before returning, stop at the Pinios River, home to rich biodiversity and scenic views. The tour ends with a relaxing drive back to your Thessaloniki accommodation. Note: Modest attire required for monastery entry—long pants and covered knees/feet.
