Private Sintra and Cascais Tour

The town of Sintra is the setting for a large group of romantic architecture, framed by a forest with more than 2,000 specimens of plants, which gives the Cultural Landscape of Sintra the classification of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our experience begins with a walk in the town of Sintra through the forest, with stops at the main viewpoints. We have up to 5 hours to enjoy a visit accompanied by our guide at Palácio da Pena, Quinta da Regaleira, or replace them with two others that interest you most. The Atlantic coast between Sintra and Cascais has incredible beaches and stops at the westernmost point in Europe, Cabo da Roca, which hosts unique vegetation, contrasting with the Sintra Forest with an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean.    Castelo dos Mouros

   Panoramic view of the Castelo dos Mouros and part of the historic center of Vila de Sintra. Our guide will give a brief explanation about the challenges of building the Castle, as well as historical moments throughout its more than a thousand years of existence. It is possible to include an internal visit to the Castelo dos Mouros.    Park and National Palace of Pena

   Panoramic view of the Pena National Palace and part of the Pena Park gardens. Our guide will give a brief explanation about the history of the Palace's construction, the symbolism behind the sculptures and their mixed architectural styles as well as contemporary historical moments.    Quinta da Regaleira

   2 hours

   Panoramic view of the Quinta da Regaleira Palace and part of its gardens. Our guide will give a brief explanation about the history of the construction of the Palace, the initiatory well as well as all the symbolism and part of the mysticism that surrounds its Gardens and what the sculptures hide behind their mixed architectural styles. It is possible to include an internal visit to the Palace and gardens, to do this, simply ask us to reserve tickets 24 hours in advance, with an additional payment corresponding to that found on the palaces' official website.

   Parque e Palacio de Monserrate

   15 min

   Panoramic view of the Monserrate Palace and part of its Gardens. Our guide will give a brief explanation about the history of the construction of the Palace and its gardens as well as all the symbolism and part of the mysticism that surrounds its Gardens with hundreds of exotic plants in its squares and sculptures. It is possible to include an internal visit to the Palace and gardens, to do this, simply ask us to pre-book tickets 48 hours in advance, with an additional payment corresponding to that found on the palaces' official website.

   Cabo Da Roca

   30 min

   The westernmost point in Europe, Cabo da Roca hosts unique vegetation, contrasting with the Sintra Forest. Break for 30 to 40 minutes to enjoy the incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. “Where the land ends and the sea begins” Fernando Pessoa.

   Boca do Inferno

   20 min

   The gateway to Cascais, Boca do Inferno is a rock formation where the sea demonstrates its beauty and strength. 20 minute break to enjoy the beginning of Cascais bay.
