Private Lapa Nightlife & Samba Experience

This is more than a samba night — it is a private introduction to Lapa’s nightlife through local eyes. Guests experience the neighborhood as they would with a local friend, combining a cachaça tasting, a guided walk through its bohemian streets and landmarks, cultural storytelling, and an authentic live samba night. The private format adds comfort, personal attention, and a safer, more relaxed way to enjoy Rio after dark.

Discover Rio's nightlife beyond the usual tourist experience on a private evening in Lapa that feels like going out with a local friend. Start the night at a classic cachaça bar, where you will taste flavors of Brazil’s iconic cachaça. Then, explore Lapa on foot with your local guide, walking along lively Rua Mem de Sá past bars, restaurants, music venues, and the iconic Lapa Arches. As the neighborhood comes alive, discover the stories behind Lapa’s bohemian culture and how Rio’s nightlife has evolved over time. Your guide will also introduce you to samba’s cultural importance and its deep connection with Carioca identity, community, and everyday life beyond Carnival. Continue toward the neighborhood’s newer bohemian scene before reaching a traditional samba house known for its lively atmosphere and live Brazilian music. Once inside, enjoy a typical Brazilian appetizer included in your experience and settle in for an authentic night of live samba among locals. More than a samba tour, this is a complete introduction to Lapa after dark — its streets, flavors, people, history, nightlife, and music — with the personalized attention and comfort of a completely private experience.
