Start your day in Arles. Two thousand years of history have marked this small city. Roman ruins, medieval history, Vincent Van Gogh, and modern architecture surprise at every turn. Next a scenic ride takes you to Les Baux-de-Provence. In town you can visit the Carrières des Lumières for an immersive art show in former bauxite mine or you can admire the medieval fortress and streets. Enjoy lunch in Les Baux or neighboring Maussane-les-Alpilles. A hop over the limestone ridge takes you to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. This charming town was immortalized in Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
