Private Driving tour from Invergordon Port to Dunrobin Castle

This is a private and exclusive tour for you and your friends from Invergordon Port. We start our tour by taking a scenic drive north over the Struie road to the viewpoints overlooking the Dornoch Firth. The second viewpoint has been described as The Millionaires View. Continuing on we head in to the county of Sutherland and stop at The Falls of Shin where we may see some Atlantic salmon leaping the falls. We continue driving along the firth to Golspie and Dunrobin Castle , this is the largest castle in the north of Scotland and is the ancestral home of the Sutherland clan , we see a very impressive Falconry Display here. After leaving Dunrobin we drive to Loch Fleet National Nature reserve where we have the opportunity to see seals and otters and various seabirds and waders. It is a short drive from Loch Fleet to the lovely little town of Dornoch where we visit the Cathedral and stop for lunch. Heading back towards Invergordon we may stop at Glenmorangie Distillery for a tasting.

   Dornoch Cathedral

   We visit Dornoch Cathedral where Madonna"s son Rocco was christened.

   Dunrobin Castle and Gardens

   2 hours

   Dunrobin Castle is the largest Castle in the North of Scotland and is the ancient home of Clan Sutherland. We will see the impressive Falconry Display during our visit.

   Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve

   1.5 hours

   The Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve is a beautiful area where we have the opportunity to see seals , otters and seabirds and waders in their natural habitat.

   Falls of Shin

   1 hour

   We visit The Falls of Shin where we may see Atlantic Salmon leaping the falls as they journey upstream to their spawning grounds.

   Dornoch

   1.5 hours

   We stop at The Dornoch Firth viewpoints East and West to see the magnificient views.

   Glenmorangie Distillery

   1 hour

   On our way back to the port we stop at Glenmorangie Distillery where it is possible to purchase a tasting at the bar.
