These big tanks were used as cool places of resort and water reservoir in parched days. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet before visiting the temple. Adjoining the Chand Baori,

    Harshat Mata Temple

    1 hour

Adjoining the baori is the architecturally splendid and sculpturally beautiful Harshat Mata Temple. Many of its pillars, columns, statues now lie scattered in the temple courtyard and in the corridors of the structure. The temple was dedicated to Harshat Mata, believed to be the goddess of happiness and joy, who spread her glow and brightness (abha) around the town.

    Monkey Temple

    1 hour

The temple complex of Ramgopalji temple is colloquially known as Monkey temple (Galwar Bagh - Galtaji) in travel literature, due to the large tribe of monkeys who live here in the temples, which have been largely abandoned and only partially restored
