It is known as Hitler's infamous mountain home in the Eagle's Nest in the middle of the Bavarian Alps near the Alpine town of Berchtesgaden. Here you will find some of the film's locations, such as Schloss Mirabell and its stunning gardens, Hellsbrunn, Villa Leopoldskron or the Felsenreitschule. There are also many palaces, cathedrals and museums. The Getreidegasse, one of the world's finest shopping streets, is lined with boutiques and restaurants in magnificent baroque buildings. You can visit the Mozart House or let yourself be carried away by the melodious rhythms of the enchanting atmosphere.
