It is an urban space opened in 1485, after the Christian conquest of the city, which is framed by characteristic white Andalusian houses and three historic buildings: the Town Hall, the Casa del Corregidor and the Ermita de Santiago. In the centre, surrounded by orange trees, is a Renaissance fountain.
