Private Cetinje Gastronomy and City Tour

Let’s visit Cetinje – a small city museum with beautiful monuments, promenades and nature under the huge mountain Lovćen. Cetinje is the former capital of Montenegro. It was founded in the 15th century and became the center of Montenegrin life and its culture. This small city, enriched with the greenery and architecture of the 18th and 19th centuries will surely draw your attention at first glance, through a rare combination of nature and culture, museums, art faculties, parks, promenades. Enjoy tasting Montenegrin lunch made up of local specialties at the unique Beekeepers farm.

   Cetinje

   30 min

   Pick up from your place of accommodation. Take a ride to Cetinje (drive duration from 30 min to 2 hours – depending on the city of your stay). Arrival at Cetinje. Cetinje city tour – (total time approx. 1 hour). You will be able to see the Ćipuri church (approx. 10 min), we will pass in front of the former Njegoš’s residence – Biljarda (approx. 10 min), the Presidential Palace (approx. 10 min) - the most important monuments of this small city museum.

   10 min

   Time for visiting Cetinje Monastery - one of three largest sanctuaries in Montenegro and find out interesting stories about relics.

   Museum of King Nikola

   10 min

   We will stop in front of King Nikola's Museum (approx. 10 minutes) which is located in the historic center of the city. Time for sightseeing - optionally (approx. 40 min). After the city tour, we will take a 10 minutes ride to the local beekeepers farm in the village near Cetinje.

   Cetinje

   2 hours

   Visit Beekeepers farm + lunch (approx. 2 hours). We will come to the local family and visit their 200 years old house. The host will show you beehives and tell some stories about this region. You will have a traditional Montenegrin lunch made up of local specialties and the opportunity to taste our host’s specially brewed homemade liquors made of fruits and honey. Return to your accommodation. End of the tour.
