Itinerary

  1. 1

    Stop 1

    15 min

Meet your host right by the cruise shuttle bus stop at Muelle de Levante. This convenient meeting point makes it easy to start the experience whether you are arriving from a cruise ship or from the city. After a quick welcome, we begin our private walk toward Alicante’s historic center.

  2. 2

    Stop 2

    10 min

Begin your walk along Alicante’s iconic seafront promenade, famous for its wave-pattern mosaic made from millions of marble tiles. Lined with palm trees and facing the marina, the Explanada is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and a perfect introduction to Alicante’s relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

  3. 3

    Stop 3

    10 min

Step into the elegant Plaza del Ayuntamiento, surrounded by some of Alicante’s most important civic buildings. Here, your host will share a few local stories while you take in the architecture, open square and lively atmosphere of the historic center.

  4. 4

    Placa de la Santissima Fac

    10 min

Continue through the narrow streets of the Old Town to the charming Plaza de la Santísima Faz. This picturesque square is full of character and color, offering a more intimate glimpse of Alicante away from the main avenues and some great opportunities for photos.

  5. 5

    Stop 5

    10 min

Discover Alicante’s oldest active church, built on the site of a former mosque and surrounded by one of the most atmospheric corners of the Old Town. Admire the beautiful façade, historic surroundings and the contrast between centuries-old stone and the lively streets around it.

  6. 6

    Stop 6

    10 min

Pause at one of Alicante’s most curious landmarks: the famous profile known as the Moor’s Face, naturally formed in the rock of Mount Benacantil beneath Santa Bárbara Castle. Your host will point out the shape and share the local legends connected to this iconic silhouette.

  7. 7

    Stop 7

    10 min

Stop at one of Alicante’s lesser-known viewpoints tucked away above the Old Town. From Carrer Mutxamel, enjoy beautiful views over the colorful rooftops, the Mediterranean and the surrounding historic neighborhoods. It’s a quieter, more local-feeling stop and one of the best places to pause, take in the scenery and capture a few memorable photos away from the busiest areas.

  8. 8

    Stop 8

    10 min

Climb gradually toward some of Alicante’s best viewpoints, where the city opens up below you. Enjoy panoramic views over the Old Town, Mediterranean Sea and Santa Bárbara Castle while stopping for photos in a quieter, greener part of the city.

  9. 9

    Stop 9

    15 min

Explore the colorful Santa Cruz neighborhood, one of Alicante’s most charming and photogenic areas. Wander through narrow lanes, whitewashed houses, flower-filled balconies and steep stairways while enjoying the relaxed pace of a private tour and plenty of time for photos.

  10. 10

    Stop 10

    5 min

Finish the tour in the historic heart of Alicante at the beautiful Co-Cathedral of St. Nicholas, one of the city’s most emblematic landmarks. Surrounded by charming Old Town streets and lively plazas, it’s the perfect final stop to take a few last photos and soak up the atmosphere before continuing your day in the city or heading back toward the port.
