Private 5 Hour Halibut Fishing Priced by Group Size

Captain Jack has been guiding in Ketchikan for 15 years, and is eager to get you on board All levels of experience are welcome. Kids are welcome, though it should be noted that halibut fishing usually requires bringing fish up from 200-300 feet of water, which can be challenging for little ones. Our boat is fully accessible, including for power chairs, an we have adaptive gear on board. Captain Jack is also a Certified Autism Specialist through IBCCES and Autism Double-Checked. We'll bring the boat to you, load up, head out, and get to fishing! While halibut fishing, we might also catch Pacific cod, pollock, lingcod, sablefish (aka black cod), and various species of rockfish! We can have any legal fish that you catch processed and shipped. (This is priced separately.) Watch for whales and other wildlife as we travel to and from the fishing grounds. Alaska's famed halibut fishing is available in waters just outside of downtown Ketchikan and Ward Cove! We'll bring the boat to you, pick you up, hop on board, and set out along Southeast Alaska's stunning shorelines and waterways as we travel out to the fishing grounds. Watch for whales and other wildlife while we fish and as we travel. Once we're on the fishing spot, Captain Jack will guide you on recommended methods as you get to fishing! All levels of experience are welcome. Our boat is fully accessible, including for power chairs, and we have adaptive fishing gear, including grasping cuffs, reel cuffs, a wheelchair-mountable rod holder, and an electric reel. We are also certified through IBCCES and Autism Double-Checked. Taxes are included in the booking price, but daily fishing licenses must be purchased from the state for anglers age 16+. Federal halibut stamps are an "added option" through Viator and need only be purchased for anglers age 18+ who wish to retain halibut, limit one per person. Wear layers and bring light rain gear! We can arrange for fish to be processed and shipped. Bottled water and snacks are included. We have a portable marine toilet on board.
