516 Arouca - Ponte Suspensa

You will reach the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge, suspended over the Paiva River valley. Crossing the bridge offers a unique perspective on the surrounding landscape and is done in a relaxed manner and at an exclusive time, avoiding excessive crowds and promoting a more mindful experience. Crossing is not mandatory; those who choose not to cross can be transported to the other side in a 4x4 vehicle, rejoining the group.

Paiva walkway

After the bridge, the experience continues along the Paiva Walkways, a linear route of approximately 8 km along the river. During this walk, the guide provides context about the territory, addressing historical, cultural, geological, and ecological aspects, as well as the importance of conserving this ecosystem integrated into a protected natural area.

Meeting and pickup

Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting for you at the Arouca Bus Station. From here on, all logistics in Arouca are organized by Just Come.

The journey between Porto and Arouca is made by a direct public bus. Go to Campanhã Station where your bus (number 1022) is scheduled to depart at 9:00 AM and takes 1 hour. Please remember that the ticket, €6.75, must be purchased on-site. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
