Pisa and Florence Private Shore Excursion from Livorno Port

After pick up, the tour begins in Pisa, where you can see the world famous “Leaning Tower”, the Duomo, and the Baptistery. The tour continues with a drive through Tuscany to the city of Florence, where you will meet our private walking guide, who will show you the city for 3 hours by beginning at the square of Michelangelo, which offers a breathtaking panoramical view on the city. Then, you will see Santa Croce Church, where all the most important Italian artists are buried: (Michelangelo, Galilei, etc), and visit the Duomo, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Signoria Palace and the Square, The Old Bridge, and Pitti Palace. There is naturally time for a Tuscan lunch, and a visit to the most important museums of Florence, the “Accademia” with the original statue of David by Michelangelo. In the afternoon you will be driven back to the Port of Livorno.

   Climb the most iconic tower in the world to enjoy a fantastic view of the city below. Make sure you book tickets for 3:30 pm to fit into the schedule.

   The impressive size of the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, in the center of the square, will leave you speechless. Step inside to enjoy the precious Byzantine mosaics.

   Ponte Vecchio

   Poke your head inside the artisan workshops that still crowd the oldest bridge in Florence, as you enjoy a pleasant stroll across, perhaps tasting a nice gelato.

   Enjoy the accurate copy of the David standing right where the original used to be, and the glorious Fountain of Neptune, as you stroll around this exquisite square.

   In this square is located the Duomo of Florence. A stunning gothic cathedral completed in 1436, it is renowned for its distinctive dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi. It's a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and a prominent symbol of Florence.
