Pisa and Florence Private Shore Excursion from La Spezia

Your English speaking driver will pick you up at the parking area where vehicles are allowed to stop. You’ll need to take the shuttle from the ship to reach it. Florence is your first stop, where our Licensed Private Guide will show you around for 3 hours, beginning at Michelangelo Square. You will stop by Santa Croce Church, then continue to Signoria Square, where you will see Florence’s most famous sculpture and the Palazzo Vecchio, the famous Duomo to see the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower. You will also see The Old Bridge. Then it will be time for a stop in Pisa to visit the world famous “Leaning Tower,” the Duomo, the Baptistery and the Campo Santo, all located in the Miracle Square, before heading back to the port. Please book tickets for Accademia for 11 am and the Leaning Tower for 3 pm. Closed on Mondays.

   Marvel at the accurate copy of the David standing right where the original used to be before you see the original at the Accademia Gallery. Take a picture in front of the glorious Fountain of Neptune, as you stroll around this exquisite square.

   Ponte Vecchio

   The oldest bridge in Florence still houses many artisan workshops as it has done since it was built. Have a look inside as you enjoy a pleasant stroll across.

   Enjoy the perfect contrast between the lush green yard and the pristine whites of the buildings standing on it: the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Campo Santo, before climbing the tower.

   Be amazed at the size of the glorious Cathedral of Saint Mary in the heart of Miracle Square. Step inside to marvel at its rich golden Byzantine mosaics.

   Time to climb the Leaning Tower for a unique experience! 284 worn marble steps will get you to the belfry at the top, where you can enjoy a precious view of the city below you.
