During this experience, you’ll explore the Landscape of the Pico Island Vineyard Culture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. We'll visit charming coastal villages and ancient vineyards, uncovering the island's rich history and traditions. Enhance your experience with an optional tasting of Pico's unique volcanic wines, guided by a local winemaker. This is a fully private tour – only your group will participate.

   We will visit this charming coastal village where many historic witnesses from the island’s golden age of winemaking can be discovered. You'll learn also more about the traditional architecture.

   Paisagem Protegida do Lajido da Criacao Velha

   2 hours

   We'll take a stroll through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges and triumphs of producing Pico’s exceptional wines. Here, you’ll enjoy the best views of Pico's unique winemaking landscape.

   Madalena

   1 hour

   You have the possibility to add and enjoy a guided wine tasting. You’ll taste 3 distinct exceptional volcanic wines with expert insights from a local winemaker. (This is included in the tour price with optional winetasting I minimum age 18 years).
