Itinerary
Enjoy a leisurely 5-hour self-guided paddle through the scenic Dora Canal with a waterfront lunch stop along the way. Your journey begins on Lake Dora in downtown Tavares. Choose a single kayak, tandem kayak, or paddleboard and travel through the cypress-lined Dora Canal, taking in the wildlife, shaded waterways, and Old Florida scenery at your own pace. Continue onto Lake Eustis and dock at The Fish Camp for a relaxing waterfront lunch. Paddle, Dock & Dine guests receive 10% off their food and beverage purchase. After lunch, return to the water and paddle back through the Dora Canal to your original launch location in downtown Tavares. Your equipment rental, paddle, life jacket, route guidance, and five hours of paddling time are included. Lunch is purchased separately.

We’re located inside Wooton Park in Tavares, sharing the waterfront with the local seaplane company. Look for the building with the large murals near the lake. Free on-site parking Arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and safety overview.
