Orecchiette Cooking Class in Corigliano d'Otranto

The handmade orecchiette course is unique because it offers the genuine expertise of a lady from Puglia who tells the story of Puglia's food and culture with her own hands. The variety of types of pasta to learn: - Orecchiette in Lecce and Bari versions - Gnocchi from Puglia - Maccheroni from Salento - Sagne "incannulate" all in an atmosphere of serenity and fun, suitable for adults and children of all ages

The workshop takes place in my mom house, in the little town of Corigliano d'Otranto. The expert cook and connoisseur of traditional recipes will explain to you how to roll up the orecchietta and how to create the dough which will also allow you to prepare your favorite Apulian dish at home with a little flour and a lot of love. Furthermore, different flours will be proposed and an accurate explanation of the particularity of Lecce's Orecchietta, which has a slight difference to that prepared in northern Puglia. The class can be in English or Italian or both :)
