Naha/Onna: 10h Private American Village & Coast Tour

Explore Okinawa's central west coast at an easy pace on a private 10-hour sightseeing day. Wander through colorful Mihama American Village, browse boutiques and cafés, and enjoy its seaside atmosphere. Head toward Yomitan for the rugged cliffs and white lighthouse at Cape Zanpa. If you prefer Ryukyu history, request a visit to Zakimi Castle Ruins instead. At Cape Maeda, enjoy land-based ocean views and coastal photographs—Blue Cave snorkeling or diving is not part of the standard tour. Continue to Cape Manzamo for its distinctive elephant-shaped cliff, then unwind at a public seaside spot along Onna Village's coast. Default route: Naha/Onna hotel → American Village → Cape Zanpa → Cape Maeda exterior → Cape Manzamo → Onna coast → hotel return. Contact us at least 24 hours ahead to request Zakimi instead of Zanpa or other changes. Stops, order and time depend on traffic, parking, weather and the 10-hour limit. Marine activities, meals and admission fees are extra.

Stroll among brightly painted buildings, explore independent shops, browse Okinawan souvenirs, and enjoy the area's blend of American-inspired design and local island culture. Walk toward the waterfront for coastal views and photo opportunities, or relax at one of the area's many cafés and restaurants. This stop provides time for independent exploration, shopping, and an optional lunch break. Meals, drinks, shopping, and paid entertainment are not included. Individual shop and restaurant opening hours vary.

   Enjoy the dramatic coastal scenery of Cape Zanpa, known for its rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and striking white lighthouse. Walk through the designated sightseeing areas, admire the open ocean, and capture photographs of Okinawa's rocky western coastline. The lighthouse provides an iconic backdrop, while the surrounding coastal landscape offers a different perspective from Okinawa's sandy beaches. For guests interested in climbing the lighthouse, an additional admission contribution is required. Lighthouse access depends on opening hours and weather conditions. This is primarily an outdoor sightseeing and photography stop. Please stay within designated safe areas and avoid approaching cliff edges during strong winds or rough seas.

   Experience the striking coastal scenery of Cape Maeda, one of Okinawa's well-known ocean viewpoints. Admire the clear blue water, rugged limestone coastline, and surrounding marine landscape from designated viewing areas. Enjoy a relaxed walk and capture photographs of the coastline without entering the water. Cape Maeda is also associated with Okinawa's famous Blue Cave, but this standard tour includes exterior sightseeing only. Snorkeling, diving, guided marine experiences, equipment rental, and underwater cave entry are not included. Access to the water may be restricted during dangerous sea conditions. Viewpoint access and photography opportunities may also be affected by weather.

   Visit Cape Manzamo, one of Okinawa's most recognizable natural landmarks. Walk along the designated coastal observation path and admire the distinctive limestone cliff formation, often compared to the shape of an elephant's trunk. Enjoy panoramic views of the East China Sea, the grassy cliff-top landscape, and the surrounding rocky coastline. Take photographs from the established viewpoints while appreciating the contrast between the turquoise sea and the dramatic limestone cliffs. The observation path requires a separate admission fee. Coastal visibility and access may be affected by weather, strong winds, or temporary safety restrictions.

   Stop 5

   45 min

   Finish your coastal sightseeing with a relaxing visit to a public seaside area along the Onna Village coastline. Enjoy the island's laid-back resort atmosphere, take photographs beside the water, and spend time appreciating the colors of Okinawa's western coast. When practical, the visit may take place at Onna Seaside Civil Park's Nabee Beach, a public coastal area near Cape Manzamo. Guests may enjoy a short walk along the shoreline or simply relax and admire the scenery. Swimming, beach equipment, water sports, food, and resort facilities are not included. Access to certain beachfront areas may depend on local rules or operating hours.
