Itinerary

Our studio is in the heart of Sakae, central Nagoya, making it easy to visit while exploring the city. Join a calligraphy session from 10:00–12:00 or 15:00–17:00, whichever fits your schedule. You’ll be guided by a calligraphy master in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Even if it’s your first time holding a brush, you can relax and learn at your own pace. Enjoy Japanese tea and traditional sweets as you experience Japanese culture. The class is divided into two sessions. First, you’ll practice writing large characters, just like Japanese students learning calligraphy at school. Next, you’ll try writing smaller characters, inspired by traditional everyday writing. At the end, you’ll frame your small calligraphy work to take home as a special Japanese souvenir and a lasting memory of your trip. This experience is ideal for travellers, beginners, families, and anyone who wants to explore Japanese culture through calligraphy.
