Itinerary

  1. 1

    Nara Prefectural Office

    Pass by

You can see the whole city from the rooftop of the prefecture: the mountains, Nara Park, Kasuga-taisha and Todaiji. It's a good way to start the day.

  2. 2

    Todai-ji Temple

    Pass by

Japan’s largest sitting Buddha is waiting patiently for you in his home, the Todaiji, the world’s largest wooden construction.

  3. 3

    Kasuga Grand Shrine

    Pass by

The great Kasuga Shrine is located inside Nara Park. You will feel the presence of the ancient deities and that of their messengers, the so cute little deer.

  4. 4

    Nara Park

    Pass by

Nara Park is home to the city's 1,400 deer or shika deer. This is an opportunity for us to interact with them.

  5. 5

    Naramachi Koshino Ie

    Pass by

Naramachi is the old town of Nara. This district dates back to the 8th century and its architecture has hardly changed since the Meiji era. A nice little walk then we retrace our steps, until the Check-out point of the day.
