   Nourished by the snowmelt of Mount Fuji, the eight clear springs of Oshino Hakkai are crystal clear and recognized as part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will stay here for about 70 minutes, including free time for lunch. We recommend trying local delicacies such as grilled rice cakes, Fuji-shaped sweets, and tempura. By the springs and thatched-roof houses, take a photo with Mount Fuji in the background — a shot sure to earn countless likes on social media.

   A 40-minute stroll through Oshino Hakkai's surroundings — in spring, tulips and cherry blossoms bloom; in summer, lavender carpets the ground in purple; in autumn, fiery red maple leaves blaze.
