Rising to 2,285 meters (7,497 feet), it is a prominent peak within a dramatic mountain range surrounded by even higher summits. Nearby Mount Catherine, the highest mountain in Egypt at 2,629 meters (8,625 feet), adds to the area’s striking landscape and natural significance.
