Milan Food Tour (Duomo & Brera District)

During this unique 3 hour guided food tour we will explore Milan’s historic centre learning about the history, tradition and food of this world famous city. You will practise also some Italian at our favourite cafes, osterie and gelaterie. This is not simply a food tour. It's a taste of local life. We will start our day like a real Italian savouring a delicious espresso at an authentic pasticceria most beloved by the locals. We will stroll along the central Piazza del Duomo admiring the Milan Gothic Cathedral, continuing towards ‘La Scala’ opera house, passing through the impressive Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. We will explore Piazza Mercanti, Piazza Affari and the beautiful Brera district, where we will stop at our street food favourites for memorable bites. The tour ends at Eataly Milan Smeraldo store which offers authentic high-quality Italian products and gift ideas. Our local guide will give shopping advice and provide transportation tips to explore the nightlife districts.

   Admire the Milan Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in Europe that took nearly six centuries to complete.

   Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

   Pass through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with its iron and glass ceiling and central dome. An impressive building with plenty of restaurants and luxury shops to explore.

   Teatro Alla Scala

   Take photos outside the Teatro alla Scala, one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world, which was inaugurated on August 3rd, 1778.

   Piazza Mercanti

   Stroll along the beautiful Piazza Mercanti once the centre of Milan during the Middle Ages, a true hub of activities and trade markets.

   Brera District

   1.5 hours

   Explore this charming district located to the north of the Duomo in-between Borgonuovo and Broletto, without a doubt the prettiest part of town. Enjoy its vibe and bohemian atmosphere strolling along its cobbleds streets admiring its galleries and pausing at our favourites street food joints for delicious tastings.
