Madrid Old Town Self Guided Tour with Mobile App

A horse knelt before a mosque, and behind a sealed wall, a lamp had supposedly burned for 300 years. That's the kind of city Toledo is — impossible stories stacked on top of each other, all true. This self-guided walking tour of Toledo uses an app to guide you through 21 stops across three civilizations: Roman foundations beneath Arab arches beneath Gothic towers. You'll visit the only surviving mosque from a city that once had ten, and see the painting El Greco used to take revenge on the king who rejected him. The audio tour works offline, so you can pause for marzipan from cloistered nuns or linger at a medieval bridge — no group schedule, no fixed start time. If you'd rather explore at your own pace, stopping when a story grabs you instead of when a guide says so, this is built for you. Over 20,000 travelers have used our self-guided tours, and a full refund guarantee means there's nothing to lose.
