Set sail from Funchal Marina aboard the Balancal, a purpose-built sport fishing vessel, fully equipped and upgraded in 2025 with new twin 300hp engines. The boat features modern navigation and fishing technology. The vessel comfortably accommodates up to 6 anglers, with a maximum capacity of 10 passengers plus 2 crew. Our experienced skipper and first mate are both highly experienced Madeiran anglers who grew up fishing local waters. Both have assisted in landing numerous grander fish. Our crew will guide you to our vessel and depart from the marina do Funchal. Upon departure, our crew will head out to active fishing grounds scanning and perform trolling with high-quality lures in order to attract big game fish. If a big game fish strikes, our first-mate will guide you to the pompanette fighting chair, ensuring your safety and comfort. The duration of the fight depends on the specie; expect at the very least 30 minutes. After the duration of the trip is complete. The crew will return back to the marina do Funchal.
