Your path then takes you to the west bank of the Nile, to the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, also known as the Colossi of Memnon. In the Valley of the Kings you will visit magnificent tombs and then the impressive temple of Queen Hatshepsut.    Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi or Soma Bay to Luxor in an air-conditioned minivan. The distance from Hurghada to Luxor is approximately 290 kilometers. They drive approximately. 4.5 to 5 hours to arrive in Luxor.
