In a small group with local Portuguese chefs, you’ll prepare a traditional three-course meal, taste authentic Portuguese products and discover the stories and traditions behind the food. Whenever available, we also use fresh seasonal produce from our family farm in Mafra.

Begin with a tasting of traditional Portuguese products, including cheeses, chouriço and wine, before heading into the kitchen to prepare a complete Portuguese meal together. You’ll make a starter, main course and dessert while learning traditional techniques and the stories behind the dishes. This is a hands-on experience where everyone takes part in the cooking. Our chefs will guide you step by step, making the class enjoyable whether you are an experienced cook or have never cooked Portuguese food before. We focus on fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, and whenever available, we use produce from our family farm in Mafra. Along the way, you’ll discover more about Portuguese culinary traditions, ingredients and the culture behind the food.
