Lake Bled Small Group Day Trip from Ljubljana

In the heart of the Alps, we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. Besides the blue-green water, we will be able to admire also the picturesque architecture of the Bled castle, which is built atop a cliff that rises above the lake. It is possible to reach the unique island in the middle of the lake with the traditional Pletna boat. There, we will climb up the 99 stone-step staircase to the church and ring the wishing bell. Alternatively, you can decide for a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, enjoying some of the most spectacular views of this picturesque lake.    A leisurely walk along the lake's most picturesque parts, where breathtaking views await at every turn. Note: If you do not choose any of the optional activities below (Bled Castle or traditional Pletna boat ride), you'll have free time (2 hours more) to enjoy a lakeside walk, a brief hike, a refreshing swim, and indulge in a delicious cream cake.

   Bled Castle (Blejski Grad)

   Optional: Bled Castle, perched on a cliff overlooking Lake Bled, offers a captivating visit with its rich history as the oldest castle in Slovenia. Explore its medieval charm and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes from this iconic Slovenian landmark.

   Stop 3

   1 hour

   Optional: A trip with a traditional Pletna boat takes you across the scenic Lake Bled to the island, where you can visit the church, ring the wishing bell, and enjoy stunning views.
